Alex Rice-Khouri is a usability analyst and the sole user researcher in Toronto’s Autodesk Consumer Group (ACG). Alex prototyped interfaces and visualized medical information in his BSc at the University of Toronto, where he first encountered Autodesk software, forensically reconstructing an unidentified skull in Maya. Before joining ACG, Alex contracted with hospital departments to improve their information portals, websites, and database interfaces, culminating in an award-winning prototype entry in AGFA’s 2009 eHealth competition. He loves running studies from recruitment to write-up, and has a strong passion for facilitating learning, assessing demographics, and coding interview transcripts. He mostly evaluates mobile applications for the Consumer Group.
